Alison Pill

Pill was first introduced in Canadian films, but took a while to break through to The American market. Bruce Gray starred in an episode of Traders. Pill earned a place on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar and "Would Have, Would, and Shoulda". Pill's role as Picard was followed by a prominent supporting role as "Katie" in Devs. The series, produced for FX Productions on Hulu and operated by the digital VFX company Double Negative, featured her for all of the episodes. The similarities with Picard were not just limited to the similarities in Picard because the main theme of the show was later revealed to revolve around the preservation of a consciousness inside an artificial creation like the one Data had been preserved and revealed within the Picard Season 1 final episode "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2".
