Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is most famous for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin's acting career began when she was just 7 when an aunt, the former nanny who took care her children Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' Following after her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting and was able to get major roles on the film and television industries. Martin has a background as an actor, and a skilled photographer and dancer has been in the business for more than 20 years. A mother of two, she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and is constantly raising awareness about the condition after her sister passed away from it at the age of 19.
